KNITTING AT THE LOTTOZERO LAB
Knitting is a technique that interlocks loops of yarn to create flexible, textured fabrics. In our lab, we offer several types of mechanical knitting machines, letting you choose the right one based on the fabric structure, pattern complexity, and yarn weight you want to produce. This setup allows you to experiment with a variety of stitches, textures, and knitwear designs—from fine, delicate fabrics to chunky, structural pieces.
BROTHER MACHINE (KH-860/KH-840/KH-830)
We have 3 different but really similar Brother machines: KH-860, KH 840, and KH 830. These are accessible mechanical knitting machines, ideal for beginners and experimental knitters also. It also supports patterned punch cards, enabling the creation of Jacquard knits with intricate designs. At Lottozero, we provide punch card templates, so you can easily develop and customize your own knitting patterns for a wide range of creative projects.

The Super Coptal Coppo is a classic flat‑bed knitting machine — robust and time‑tested — ideal for producing garments or knit fabrics on a small scale. It works with typical yarns (wool, cotton, mixed) and is well suited for artisanal or experimental knitwear production. Thanks to its manual/mechanical design, it gives you hands‑on control and flexibility over stitch type and fabric density.

Rental prices are for artists, students and anyone who is able to work independently without the supervision of a technician, including an introduction to the tools of about 20 minutes.
For those who need the full support from the lab Manager, an additional hourly rate of €60 is applied.
Materials not included; it is possible to purchase a starter pack for each technique.
