Whether developing samples, tapestries, or experimental fabrics, our weaving lab is a space for material research, pattern exploration, and hands-on production.
TC2 DIGITAL JACQUARD LOOM
The TC2 Digital Jacquard Loom is a professional, computer-controlled yet manually operated loom designed for weaving complex patterns, images, and experimental textiles. Each warp thread can be digitally controlled, translating designs from software directly into fabric. Users can create their designs in programs such as Photoshop or AdaCAD and bring them to life on the loom.
At Lottozero, our TC2 is configured with 6 modules, for a total of 1320 warp threads across 110 cm width (≈12 ends/cm), typically dressed in white or black cotton. Its modular setup can be reconfigured by users when rented for a minimum of one month, allowing full flexibility for custom, experimental, or small-batch textile production.

The Counter-March Loom is a traditional loom that ensures even warp tension for smooth, precise weaving. At Lottozero, it features 8 shafts and a 150 cm weaving width, ideal for exploring a wide range of patterns and weave structures.

The Sample Loom is a compact, versatile loom designed for experimentation and small-scale weaving. With 16 shafts and a maximum weaving width of 40 cm, it’s perfect for testing patterns, colors, and materials before moving to larger projects.

TAPESTRY LOOM
The Tapestry Loom is a traditional, vertical loom designed for handwoven artworks and decorative textiles or small carpets. Its structure allows manual control of each warp thread, making it ideal for creating detailed patterns, pictorial designs, and experimental textures in a slow, artisanal weaving process. The loom has a weaving width of 73 cm. Since the warp is rolled on the upper beam, the possible length depends on how much warp is wound.

Rental prices are for artists, students and anyone who is able to work independently without the supervision of a technician, including an introduction to the tools of about 20 minutes.
For those who need the full support from the lab Manager, an additional hourly rate of €60 is applied.
Materials not included; it is possible to purchase a starter pack for each technique.
